Jose Peseiro, who was named Super Eagles manager in 2022 has joined the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA). This action was taken in a bid to improve his positive relationship with the country's coaches.

Peseiro was presented with a membership certificate and identity card on February 8, 2023, by Ladan Bosso, President of the Coaches Association and Head Coach of the Nigeria U-20 Eagles squad.
